What this page helps you do

Package JPEG scans or photographs as one PDF attachment with one image per page. Ordering the images before export helps you assemble a readable sequence such as a receipt followed by supporting photographs.

How to use the result

Add the JPEG files, arrange the pages with the ordering controls, and export. The fixed A4 layout follows each image's orientation and fits the image inside the page margins.

Before you rely on it

  • Open the PDF and confirm page order, page count and orientation.
  • Zoom in on names, dates and amounts, then check the total PDF size against the recipient's attachment limit.

Limit to keep in mind: Images remain images: this tool does not recognize text or make scans searchable. Enlarging a small photo to fit a page does not add readable detail.

Check the page list before making the attachment

For a three-receipt packet, choose the three JPEG photos, arrange them for the recipient and confirm that the saved PDF contains three pages in that order.

Zoom in on dates, totals and receipt edges. A PDF that opens normally can still contain an unreadable or misplaced photograph.

Work within the displayed batch limits

The converter holds the job in browser memory and enforces image-count and total-size limits. The chooser and conversion controls show those limits before export; reduce the batch when necessary.

Keep the original photos until the PDF is checked. Its pages are images, so conversion does not provide OCR text or certify that a recipient will accept the document.

Understand the picture-data path

An upright JPEG within the supported size thresholds can be placed in the PDF without decoding and re-encoding its compressed picture data. That avoids an additional JPEG compression step.

Images needing orientation correction or reduction are redrawn once. Compare small text and fine marks in those pages, and keep a higher-detail original for other uses.

Expect a fixed A4 layout

Every photo gets its own A4 page, with landscape or portrait orientation chosen from the image. The picture is centred on white within a half-inch margin and scaled to fit without cropping or stretching.

A smaller source can be enlarged to fill the available area. There is no actual-size control, so inspect whether low-resolution material remains readable at that printed size.

Reopen the PDF to verify orientation

The converter applies supported orientation information during layout. Confirm that every saved page is upright, especially when the batch combines camera photos and scans with different orientation histories.

Use the source files and preview list to check both the page count and sequence. A correctly oriented thumbnail is not a substitute for opening the finished document.

Choose the next operation from the remaining problem

Use Photos to PDF when the inputs include supported formats beyond JPEG. If the completed PDF needs page changes, use Organize PDF; if it exceeds a size limit, try Compress PDF and inspect the result.

The photo conversion omits source camera and location metadata, but the visible content is still present. Use Remove Metadata when you need to share cleaned image files themselves rather than a PDF.

Frequently asked questions

How do I control the page order?
Use the Up and Down controls on the photo previews before converting. Each JPEG becomes one PDF page in the displayed sequence. Check the first and last page in the downloaded file.
When is a JPEG embedded without another lossy encode?
An upright JPEG within the stated limits can keep its compressed picture data. Rotation or an image above 25 megapixels or 2400 pixels on the long edge requires a redraw at quality 0.85. Inspect fine writing after conversion.
What layout will the PDF use?
Each photo gets an A4 page whose orientation follows that image. The picture is centred on white inside a half-inch margin, fitted without cropping or stretching. There are no custom page-size or actual-size controls.
What happens to camera and location metadata?
Source EXIF, XMP, IPTC and comment information is omitted from the embedded photos. Drawing-related data such as density, colour profiles and colour transforms may remain so the picture is rendered correctly. Visible sensitive content still needs review.
Does the PDF recognize photographed text?
No. A receipt or scanned form remains a picture on its page. Use a separate OCR workflow when searchable or selectable text is required, and check the recognized text against the original.
Can this page accept a mixed photo batch?
This page accepts JPEGs. Use Photos to PDF for supported PNG and WebP files or a mixed batch. Its HEIC support depends on the browser and the particular file.
Can I use the converter after going offline?
The converter's code is loaded when needed, so a newly opened page taken offline before its first conversion can fail to load it. Load and use the converter while connected before relying on cached code; the photos themselves are not uploaded.
