What this page helps you do
Prepare a receipt PDF recording a payment you have already confirmed. The document provides a readable description of the items and amount so the payer and recipient can retain matching records.
How to use the result
Enter the parties, paid date, currency and paid items, and use the payment method/reference fields when appropriate. Base the receipt on the actual payment record rather than an expected transfer.

- Match the total and currency to the payment received, including whether it was a partial payment.
- Check the payer, date, item descriptions and reference before issuing the PDF.
Limit to keep in mind: The tool creates a document; it does not verify a bank transfer, process a transaction or confirm settlement. Keep the underlying payment record and apply your local recordkeeping requirements.
A receipt records payment rather than requesting it
Use receipt mode after confirming the payment. It provides a paid date and payment method or reference fields; creating the PDF does not check a bank transfer, card payment or cash receipt for you.
Describe what the money covers so the receipt can be matched with the original invoice, agreement or order. Keep related documents together.
Keep the recorded total consistent
Check whether the paid amount included tax before choosing the tax mode. Adding tax to a payment that already included it would make the receipt total disagree with the money received.
The generator supports per-line rates and the 54-currency selection. Confirm the rates, currency precision and any required receipt information for the transaction; choosing a currency does not perform exchange conversion.
Make cash and rent payments traceable
For a cash payment, enter cash as the method and use any relevant reference. For rent, identify the payer, recipient, rental period and property using the description and notes. The details should connect the receipt to the payment rather than leave the reader to infer its purpose.

- Does the receipt prove a payment went through?
- The tool records what you enter. Confirm receipt of the money using your payment records before issuing the PDF; the generator is not connected to a bank or payment processor.
- How is a receipt different from an invoice?
- An invoice asks for payment, while a receipt records a payment already confirmed. Receipt mode provides a paid date and payment method/reference fields, so review those rather than treating an unpaid invoice as a receipt.
- Can I record cash or rent?
- Yes. State the payment method and purpose clearly. For rent, include the rental period and property in the description or notes, and retain the supporting records required for your situation.
- Why does the tax mode affect the total?
- Exclusive mode adds tax to the entered prices; inclusive mode treats it as already included. Match the choice to the amount actually paid and confirm the applicable rates separately.
- Will numbering match my other devices?
- No. The browser's numbering counter is local and does not synchronize. Check your records for duplicate numbers and keep the issued PDFs in your own recordkeeping system.
- Does generation upload payment details?
- The form fields and PDF are processed in the browser. Draft fields can remain in this tab's session and numbering can persist across visits, so clear the site's browser storage after working on a shared device.
